(I'm never quite sure how much anyone would really want to know about me.... )

My story with landscape photography so far...

​

After my first shoot I was hooked... Serendipitously presented with a glowing evening at Willen Lake, where even the swans were posing themselves into composition, I stumbled through my newly acquired knowledge of camera settings. That evening, despite my novice fumbling, somehow, my lens captured the mood and the moment perfectly.  That was the spark...

Since then, I have found myself looking at nature in a new light, seeking out the hidden gems. Whilst the more obvious grand vistas can make for wonderful images, I find the most satisfaction when a more unassuming scene is brought to life and illuminated unexpectedly. 

​

A few years on, I feel lucky that landscape photography takes me to wonderful locations and gives me a sense of balance (even with the 4am starts!). I hope this is conveyed in my images.
